A note on Semesters: Effective Fall 2026, Cal Poly will begin the semester system. To view the 2026-2028 Flowcharts and curriculum please refer to the online catalog. If you are starting Cal Poly in Fall 2023 or later or if you have started in Fall 2022 or before but end up taking more than 4 years to graduate, chances are you might finish your studies under the semester system.
